CLEAN WATER PETITION
Sign the Constitutional Amendment Initiative Petition for a Right to Clean Water!

This Constitutional Amendment creates an enforceable, fundamental right to clean and healthy waters, authorizing people to sue for equitable relief when a State executive agency, by action or inaction, allows harm or threat to Florida waters.

So for, the Suwannee Environmental Caucus has collected over 50 petitions!

CANDIDATE RECRUITMENT
One of the caucus initiatives is to recruit pro-environment candidates for office and educate them about the importance of environmental issues. We work with our sister organization, the Suwannee Democrats, to support local Democratic candidates.

Kenny Beasley, Suwannee County native and active Democrat, was recently recruited to run against Republican Jason Shoaf, previously unopposed, who supports policies that are terrible for the environment.
Kenny is giving Jason a run for his money! Help out Suwannee's environmental future by getting involved in Kenny's campaign!
RECYCLING INITIATIVE
Did you know Suwannee County used to recycle glass and paper? One of our projects is to bring back recycling in Suwannee County. Learn more about this initiative by joining and attending our next meeting!
